InventBuild emphasizes user-centered design, development and testing. This means that design and implementation questions are usually answered empirically with user research, user interviews, prototyping and listening carefully to user feedback.

InventBuild uses the “Jobs-to-be-Done” framework to understand what users are trying to get done: what their current state is, and what their desired future state is. While many users “jobs” are simple to describe, crafting an ideal solution for them may not be, and one of InventBuild's strengths is managing complexity.
